Voi [e, x, s] is a creation by director Alexandra Lacroix for the new Chapelle Charbon park located in the heart of the 18th arrondissement of Paris. It is here that she set up with her company almost three years ago, with the idea of ​​following each step of the transformation of this former railway wasteland, in order to build the memory of this district, starting with by its inhabitants.

The score of Voi [e, x, s], composed by Marta Gentilucci (Ircam), from the dramaturgy conceived by Alexandra Lacroix, makes hear the sounds of the site before its transformation, is added the human voice, or rather the voices of 680 inhabitants of the district stating their first names The sound and physical imprint of the site as well as the resonance of the first names of the inhabitants and their etymologies constituting the basis of this show designed for the place and its inhabitants.

The work will be interpreted by singers from Ensemble Aedes, in interaction with dancers, actors and a visual artist from CompagnieMPDA - Alexandra Lacroix, and noises induced by their movements during the in situ performance.
