About a hundred children from Ecole Royallieu in Compiègne take the stage at the Espace Jean Legendre to present the participatory opera Argos et Grigoria, the culmination of two years of work in song, theater and dance.
The Argos et Grigoria libretto, inspired by Jean Tardieu's L’île des Vifs et l'île des Lents, imagines two cities governed by radically different speeds: Speed-City and Slow-Town. It tells the story of an a priori impossible love between two protagonists with radically opposed lifestyles, made up of pulses and rhythms in constant disagreement.
